Low Incidence Disabilities & Autism 

At RISE SpEd Consulting, we offer services to address a variety of components that individuals with low incidence disabilities and/or autism may need in order to be successful in a variety of settings, including (but not limited to) the self-contained classroom, inclusion classroom with same-age peers, home, and community. We customize training and/or support services to include any areas that need to be addressed.

Roles and responsibilities for teachers and paraprofessionals in various settings. 

Functional Skills

Determining appropriate functional skills to teach, systematically teaching the skill, and generalizing to other environments or situations.  

IEP Development

  • Writing PLAAFP statements that clearly reflect the child’s strengths and opportunities for skill development

  • IEP goal development
